Join us on Saturday, May 4 in Seattle, WA for “Head and Neck Cancers in the VA.” Regional meetings are a one-day, locally-focused meeting for AVAHO members and clinicians serving veterans with cancer and hematological disorders. All disciplines in the cancer care process are welcome.

Targeting Dual Pathway Inhibition in HPV-Negative, Recurrent/Metastatic HNSCC

Summary: A 60-minute presentation by AVEO Oncology to educate attendees about a recently initiated clinical study for patients with HPV-negative recurrent/metastatic HNSCC. The presenter will review HPV-negative HNSCC pathophysiology including differences from HPV+ disease and current treatment options, and why veterans may have increased risk factors for HPV-negative HNSCC. The presenter will also discuss a phase 3 trial in HPV-negative RM HNSCC that is currently screening eligible patients.
